Rev Alan Comfort has been Vicar of St Andrew's since April 2023. He was ordained in 1994 and served in churches in and around London for nearly thirty years. He has a passion for sharing Jesus and looking after people. He loves keeping fit, watching football, and walking his beloved dog.
Alan has been married to Jill since 1989. They have three children and five grandchildren who bring them much joy. They come as a team, but with their own particular giftings. Jill's passion is getting alongside children, adolescents, and parents, and offering creative spaces to explore real faith in real life. Jill aspires in God to lead people closer to the love and freedom they can have in relationship with Jesus. Jill is a consultant children’s therapist, and therapy team manager in London.
Revd Marion Walker is the SSM Associate Priest at St Andrew's since 2020.

David Gill is an archaeologist and was licensed as a Reader (lay minister) in 1995 in South Wales. He has a passion for communicating the good news of Jesus and loves to help people understand the Bible. He was named in the Independent on Sunday as one of the 100 people who make Britain a happier and more contented place. With his wife Caroline, David enjoys counting butterflies for Butterfly Conservation.

David Yaroslaw was a secondary school teacher in Suffolk for many years and now volunteers as part of a school chaplaincy team. He has attended St Andrews for 3 years and became a reader in 2025. He enjoys music, family time, allotment gardening and watching sports. He is keen to explore and talk about what it means to be a follower of Jesus in the 21st Century.
Chris Yule was formerly a lawyer, was admitted as a Reader in the Church of England in 1983, and has been part of St Andrew's since 2017. He loves communicating the gospel, making it relevant to today's world. He enjoys working with small groups, often using films to trigger discussion. He is a keen singer, ukulele player, and grandfather, married to Jean for 56 years.
Meet the wardens

Kevin Brazier - Having previously lived and worshipped in North London, Kevin has been active at St Andrew's for the last thirteen years. He enjoys spending time talking to people and helping out where needed. His favourite destination is Southern Ireland where he enjoys walking in the hills.

Jim Ainslie has worshipped and taken an active role in the life of St Andrew's for over 50 years with a keenness to promote the gospel. Besides his large family, interests include a passion for the charity Tools with a Mission, gardening and playing the guitar (badly!).

Ruth Silburn has been a churchwarden for three years, is a PCC member and Eco Church Team Lead. She enjoys meeting people of all ages and cares very much about God’s creation. Her interests include outdoor pursuits such as walking and swimming, as well as local history.
